Default Good school district near Ronkonkoma?

I've been trying to figure out the towns/school districts near my husband's new job in Ronkonkoma and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. Can some of you save me some time and confusion and tell me which school districts near Ronkonkoma are considered the best? We woud prefer either in Ronkonkoma or west toward Manhattan.

Thanks very much for any help you can offer!

As far as I know, Ronkonkoma, has some areas that go to Connetquot and some that go to Sachem. Both are considered pretty good districts.

Why don't you check out Three Village? We're just north of Ronkonkoma by about 15 minutes.

Smithtown is the best out of the districts mentioned. Happauge has a good district with lower than average taxes.
