The bag @ the wedding isn't the problem ... it's what do I do with them when I'm out & about all day walking around the city? I wear a suit ... I should walk around with a garment bag all day?

Whatever.

This is about lockers anyhow.

It's Wednesday and there have been problems everyday this week ...
you're asked a simple question and you respond with irrelevant nonsense. Given your struggles with this "dilemma", I'm just going to assume you're misreading the LIRR timetables.

you really can't figure out how to kill some time in MANHATTAN? Like you can't think of a single thing worth doing?

Yes b/c they have a baby & a coat check wouldn't be open @ 1p for a 7p wedding ... I suppose I could drop it off at my friend's then walk around the city then come back again before the wedding and get it from her then leave it in the coat check ... but think about how much easier a locker would be. That's all.

There's plenty to do. I just don't want to have to walk around carrying a dress or a suit for many hours.

yes I have. They don't add extra trains at the time I need them where I am needing to go. Not every branch has them and they are usually around 3p or 4p. I need to be on a train earlier than that.
