hi - just wondering what cell service people find to be the best on around the Syosset/Woodbury/Huntington area?

I'm currently with Verizon, but i'm finding their LTE signal to be pretty spotty these days (not to mention $$)

If Verizon is bad then I doubt the rest would be any better. Not sure why service is so crappy in the N Shore. I'm with Sprint and its OK up there. Only reason why I'm still with them is because my phones are paid off and my bill comes out to less than $100 for 2 lines and unlimited everything.

Does anybody know why Northport seems to be where cell signals go to die? I don't need to go there very often but whenever I do, the signal typically plummets once I go north of the high school on Laurel Hill Road. That seems to be the dividing line between being able to get a reliable signal and being lucky if you get just one bar.

That said, I've always had Verizon and so I don't know if the problem is the same in Northport for all carriers or just them.

North Shore is spotty for sure.....slowly improving. Huntington is rough for service. Verizon works for me.

Nobody wants cell towers near them, so the result is poor service.
