Default Long Island HVAC guy.

I need an insured heat and AC guy/gal who is willing to pick up my furnace and install it. I ordered it myself because my brother is an HVAC in another state, so I can get it at cost. But I need someone who is good and is willing to pick it up as well as install it.

Thanks!

Do you have the ductwork installed? Is this simply a change out of equipment?

I do have ductwork, but I want to add a branch to the system to heat/cool an addition that is already built & attached to the house.

It is the change out of furnace, but I'm adding (hopefully) an AC system.

Hello,

We can have it installed for you. The cost including the transition piece for the ductwork would be @ $1500.

How do you throw a number out there like that without looking at the job? What if the added branch ductwork is another 1000 ft? I think it would be in your best interest to atleast look at the job, no?

You were reading my mind! Other than the potential for additional ductwork costs, what about time spent going and picking up this unit -- the OP wrote that her brother is supplying it at cost, but he's in another state so he can't install. Did he order the unit out of state? IS the unit on LI and if so, how far away?

Personally, I wouldn't want to get involved with transporting a homeowner supplied unit and take on that liability. What if there was damage to the unit? Why can't the homeowner have it delivered?
