Default What kind of fallout will the subprime crisis have on the economy of LI?

Not that LI has much of its own economy, but one has to think the massive incoming job losses on Wall St. will put a damp on the overall well being of LI.

Well I think LI has a sizable economy its not just NYC.

Wall street layoffs might finally put a dent it the $1 million+ housing and 2nd home purchases on the East End.

Contractors are starting to feel the pinch.
