New Jersey! Still close to the city but do not have to pay these nuts prices in Nassau County, ESPECIALLY on the North Shore.

Heres a shocking answer. NJ!
My kid just moved to Princeton for a job. Talk about pricey. The housing is just as high as LI. And to my suprise the taxes are even HIGHER!!
Lovely area though.

If I were to leave it would be for a place with sunshine and 70 deg. for atleast 10 months out of the year!

I will never move to NC. I absolutely cannot take the southern lifestyle. If I ever move, it would be to another area of Metro NY.

Wrong! My picks would be either San Diego or Phoenix. But I will probably be here on LI for another 24 years.
