East Rockaway, near Bay Park - smelly? (Oceanside, Lynbrook: lawyer, house)

We're looking for a house to buy in the Oceanside, Lynbrook East Rockaway area and found a real nice one. But it's a block away from the Bay Park border and I'm a tad apprehensive because of all the bad publicity it's getting lately with the sewage plant.

Besides this, i fear the odor too. Does anyone know anything about the oder & how bad it gets?

hi, i live around the corner form the plant, its not too bad unless your actually in Bay Park... and btw it doesn't smell all the time.

Well it seems lately everytime I drive by bay park it is so potently powerful that I gag.... Dam shame too, the area is so cute with really nice people living over there and close community.... It should be illegal to let out the smell that plant lets out on a regular basis... I mean what are they doing like leaving the tanks open and airing them out? I couldn't even go to wendy's the other day and I was "STARVING," lol... because the smell was so putrid I bolted over the train tracks back into oceanside... ahhhhhh fresh air.... I even had the air conditioner on with recirulating air and the smell was choking.....


Now he is right its not "all," the time, but honestly I couldn't even get used to it if it was a few times a year.... but thats just me.... sawwyy I love the park over there though.... Got searched by a random detective for abolutly noooooo reason at all except because i had my hat turned back and I was relaxing in my car... I should have called my lawyer and pressed charges, but he said that there was "marijuana," being delt in the area and wanted to know if I was the dealer LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.......... I didn't say no to the search, but its just unreal cops violate the rights of freedom loving americans in the name of justice.... So... I guess there's "REALLY BAD PEOPLE," who "DEAL," "MARIJUANA," by that park..... ooooooooooo yea they say marijuana is very very dangerous and the people that sell it are evil...... Un ****"N REAL... I felt so violated.... 14 and 15th amendment people... both violated because of possible smoking or selling of marijuana by a park lol......
