Young People's Day Camp
I cannot comment about the one in Suffolk but I'd be weary the one in Westchester is Horrible! The counselors use foul language in front of the children and encourage the kids to tease each other and fight amongst themselves for their own entertainment! Before signing up the Director told us the kids would be supervised on the bus on the way home, turns out the supervision consisted of 16 year old kids and they got off the bus before all the kids did, therefore NO SUPERVISION! The camp does nothing when it comes to bullies and it can turn out to be a horrible experience for a child and they won't refund your money even if your child was tormented there! Be careful when dealing with these people.

My children have attended young peoples day camp in Suffolk County for the past four years. The director Mike Davidson is an excellent person and runs the camp very well. I have not encountered any problems. The staff is very professional and is always on top of any incidents. The director will personally call you if there is a problem related to your child. Rest assured that your child is safe in the very structured enviorment that is professionally put together for your child.
