Does anybody know the streets which make up the western border of the Harborfields School District or know where I can find a map of it?

Any particular street you are looking at?

You can buy a Hagstrom map, they have school district borders on them as well.

I am not sure if this link is 100% accurate, but to double check, you can also check each home/street on the tax assessment site of Town of Huntington, to verify a particular home is within the district.

Call or visit the transportation department of the school district. They could probably provide you with a map or the information about the exact border streets.

Nice find, do you know if the other Suffolk towns have similar resources available online? That'd make a good sticky for the board.

I know Town of Smithtown has the tax assessment website. I do believe a few others do, and of course I would think you know about

www.mynassauproperty.com for ANY Nassau property, with pics too. Much more info on the Nassau site though.

I am sure others Suffolk towns have this on their website, but not that I have the links offhand.

Glad2behere - I missed your question in my last response. We have not chosen any particular streets. At the moment we have narrowed our search down to two communities. We are looking at the Centerport area (because of better rated schools than Huntington plus the fact it is near the village of Huntington) and Croton on the Hudson in Westchester (which has good schools and a quicker and more scenic commute to Manhattan but a very small village). The only negative with Centerport is the commute time.
