Considering school districts, is Wantagh significantly better than MacArthur? Is the cost of living in Wantagh worth it?

New rankings just came out for NYS by Niche. Wantagh 68, Levittown 70.
That’s pretty damn close

Those rankings are based upon a limited scope of data. You have gotten unanimous reply based upon people that know the districts.

This isn’t Jericho or Great neck. Either is fine. It’s not that big of a difference. If your children are smart and want to do good in school, they’ll be fine in either school districts. Not much of a difference.

Seriously. I'm 49 and have been in middle management in the corporate world for many years now, hiring and firing people all the time. Being a Queens kid, I did ok. And I can't count how many times I've interviewed "kids" from upscale neighborhoods, backgrounds, schools, etc, etc...and squashed them at the interview!!!

No amount of money (usually) or education will get you past an interview if you can't sell yourself to get the job. I might even hire the kid from South Bronx over the kid from the North Shore.
