Default How to find a buyers agent in Huntington?

I am looking at a Co-op that I have already seen in Huntington. I don't think the realtor I used for Syosset houses is willing or interested in selling a Co-op in Huntington. I have already seen this place twice. Once during an open house and also with the listing agent in a private viewing. Being that I have found the Co-op I want to place a bid, do I just randomly call agents in Huntington?

Should I represent myself? Does it makes sense? How do I go about this?

If you want to buy it, you don't need anyone to "represent" you. Just call the listing broker/agent and tell them you are interested in the condo.

Why don't you just make your offer through the listing agent? Things can get very complicated when one agent (particularly the listing agent) shows you a property and then an offer is made through another agent.

Those who read this board know that I am a believer in Buyer Agency, but in your case, it may be easier just to go ahead and make the offer through the listing agent. Just keep in mind that he or she is acting in the best interest of the seller, so do not divulge any confidential information such as "I want to offer $$$ but I'm really willing to go up to $$$$".
