jjjjj9 is on a distinguished road
And to add to that i grew up in the Northport School District and i really didnt come across any snobs , and northport has a higher median income that Commack. Why does it matter, if you raise your children knowing the value of a dollar and to be thankful they will turn out fine.

Any thoughts?
I can officially say that I live in a town with snobs in it. Always lived on the other side of the tracks. Today, my friends, marks the day that I make my move. This buoys my spirit and drives me with haste to face new tomorrows!

I am not being a snob. I'm just quoting someone else who said something about EN being "when you can't afford Northport" and other people's opinions. My whole purpose of this post is to find out about the general atmosphere of an area and a school district.

You are COMPLETELY MISINTERPRETING ME. There's no reason to be so up in arms with me. I'm the nicest person in the world in person.

I realize you are probably getting defensive because you live here, so you don't want me to examine possible cons. But I want to know how the area is. There is no need for verbal abuse. Your attacks on me are inappropriate.

And the school shooting reference is to illustrate a point, how elitism has gone to an extreme.

Now enough of this. I'm going to block you from now on if you can't live up to your user name "OhBeeHave."
The only reason I live in East Northport is because I couldn't afford Northport. I have good friends who are in the same boat. They could borderline-afford a house in Northport, but couldn't weather the taxes. So, they ended up just south of Fort Salonga.

You're replying to a year+ old post to someone who hasn't posted at all in 14 months. Don't be so hasty.
