I would be careful as many of the larger independent outlets seem to come and go ...
Cannot recommend a specific dealer - but most of the automakers (for example Toyota) have "certified used cars" at their dealerships that they will warranty up to 6 years of age or 100,000 miles from date of the original purchase (not your purchase). For example, if you buy a 2 year old car with 30,000 miles, you still get a 4 year/70,000 mile warranty. Those warranties are pretty comprehensive and are backed by the automaker, not a particular dealership. Might be worth the difference in cost between buying from a private dealer, especially if you are purchasing a newer used vehicle. Just a thought.
