Default Copiague Schools?

One of my friends with a middle school student is moving to Copiague and asked me how the schools are- I have no clue! Anyone know anything about them? (academically and socially)

i know a lot of people who graduated from copiague and turned out very well..it is a "melting pot", very diverse...you have all walks of life in copiague..I've heard it has gotten "worse" over the past few years, but what does that really mean?

For those who may not be familiar with Copiague:

Copiague is a hamlet (an unincorporated area) in the southwest part of the Town of Babylon, in the southwest part of Suffolk County.

Beginning on the north and moving in a clockwise direction, the Hamlet of Copiague in the Town of Babylon is bordered on the north by the Hamlet of North Amityville; on the east by the Village of Lindenhurst; on the south by the Great South Bay; and, on the west by the Village of Amityville.

The Hamlet of Copiague has a different border than does the "Copiague, NY 11726" postal zone (i.e., a place can have other than a "Copiague, NY 11726" mailing address and be in the Hamlet of Copiague): there are places in the Hamlet of Copiague with an "Amityville, NY 11701" mailing address.

For a good set of town-by-town maps showing all the villages and hamlets in each of LI's 13 towns (3 in Nassau County and 10 in Suffolk County): http://www.city-data.com/forum/long-...-resource.html
