There's Long & Learning in Oceanside. I like the staff (wamr, friendly), but dislike the owners (don't seem to care).

There's the JCC in Oceanside, too. Not limited to folks of the Jewish faith. Lots more activities for kids (e.g., indoor pool, full gym, etc..). Nice teachers.

Both are expensive. Good luck

Default Loving and Learning

My son is 2.5 and has been going to Loving & Learning on Lower Lincoln Ave in Oceanside since he was 12 weeks. We are very happy there. Yes, things happen sometimes but they have always been very minor. It's a nice place, they bring in gym and music teachers once a week, the daycare providers are wonderful and the school is clean. They have nice outside play areas too. I like that on the holidays my son comes home with both Jewish and Christian projects (the JCC is nice too but they only do Jewish projects) so he learns both cultures (we are both). I don't think the owners don't care at the previous poster mentions, but they are business people. They don't get as warm and mushy with you as the actual teachers/caregivers. My son is very happy there, can't wait to go every day and has learned a tremendous amount (and it 100% potty trained! Wheee!) I know he is safe and happy.

It is very $$$...but I doubt it is any more than any other facility. Home daycares may be less.

Let me know if you need more info.

Lynn

I disagree with Lynn on Loving & Learning, having my kids there for 2-3 years before moving. It's gone way downhill and that's unfortunate considering the price.
We're not Jewish but have no problems at the JCC (comparable in price with much, much more to offer --e.g., indoor pool with lessons and various other "enrichment" programs for the kids). I strongly suggest you compare the two. I don't think there's any comparison.
