Default People are so mean here

and some are nice too but for the most part I meant some mean ppl when I went to the city a few months ago. We were gonna go see The Statue Of Liberty and there all having attitude problems. There was a long line and me and my cousins were trying to see where my mom went and this dude out of nowhere was saying "the line's back there" all nasty and snobbish. He's an adult and were just kids. We weren't even trying to skip! And some other ppl with Long Island accents were all "What the hell? Are they trying to skip us?". And we dealt with Long Island attidude all day. We got to see the statue but some ppl were just tripping that day. Is it like that all the time??

Also, I have to say I did enjoy the many cultures of Long Island. There's so many different ppl here! It's such a nice change from just seeing white ppl, black ppl, and latinos.

Guess what? Most of the people visiting the Statue of Liberty are not from around here, unless they're schoolchildren. They're tourists.

How do you figure that people at the Statue of Liberty are from LI? This is a ridiculous post, sorry.

Right, you're from Texas, but you can distinguish an LI accent from a NYC or NJ one? *rolls eyes*

I love the smell of trolls in the morning.

Maybe he stayed on Long Island but went to the Statue of Liberty? Maybe he's confusing Long Island and Staten Island, which I've noticed a lot of people from other states do....

In any case, yeah....most of those people probably weren't from Long Island, or even NYC.

I went to the Statue of Liberty last summer when I was sightseeing with some visitors from overseas. That line is very confusing and very LLOONNGG! Sorry people got snotty with you, but waiting on that huge line that snakes around the entire park can make people get impatient and overzealous in protecting their "spot on line." Glad you enjoyed visiting NY in general!

Long Island is NOT my favorite place on the planet when it comes to housing, but I have to say I've found the people to be the silver lining.
