I disagree with Jericho. Great school district, but where is the town? Hicksville has lots of shopping, but it isn't a "town" and doesn't have nice stores. Right off the Northern State, LIE and 106/107...I never understood the appeal of this area, other than the schools.

If you worked in NYC you would understand the appeal of this area quickly. Express trains 35 minutes to Penn Station from Hix. Rush hour trains every 10-15 minutes, not every hour like the line east of Huntington. It depends on where you work, what you like.

Cold Spring Harbor is one of my favorite towns, good school district. Centerport is also nice, similar to Sea Cliff and Northport (located between Northport and Huntington), the school district is "harborfields".
