I have FIOS internet and "broadcast TV" Broadcast TV pack is the super cheap alternitive to antanna, but picture quality is great.

Anyway, Question I had was Does anyone have their "triple play" pack and if so how much does the bill really come out to with boxes etc included?

My problem with most cable/tv phone etc is that ultimately they advertise 90 and the bill is 140. I'd consider signing up for 90, but if the bill is significantly more than that, I think I'm going to stick with what I got and suffer ith Teleblend for phone and $13 TV service.

You guys, this has nothing to do with how wealthy a town is. Quite the opposite. You think they want to wire up head of the harbor where homes are half a mile apart, or a middle class neighborhood with dense population whom nearly all subscribe to cable? They certainly want to wire up brookhaven, but brookhaven is wringing them dry.

The reason small villages are getting it is because they are in control of their cable franchise agreements, and they are agreeing! It has nothing to do with rich vs poor.

Sounds like the Dolans have some friends in Crookhaven.

Time to start sending e-mails and maybe someone putting up a site about how corrupt Brookhaven is taking choices away from it's residents.

It's a handsome payoff...and considering they are getting something from CV, I'm sure, as long as it isn't "obvious", go for it !

For the Town, it's "WIN", "WIN", AND KEEPS IT LEGAL ! I don't begrudge any Town official, up to the point of screwing with The Public's right to have a decent cable provider !

CV is insufferable...and that Hip Here Now "OPTIMUM" spokes model is getting on my NERVES !

They should have a PERMANENT, US Attorney's office in Brookhaven !

Who knows, right, they probably are investigating this right now.

Town of Brookhaven government employees are such easy targets, it's silly !

Bottom line is brookhaven sucks!!!!!!!!!! And so does cablevision!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Any1 buying 1080p tvs is not ever goin to be able to reach that resolution- ur tv might be capable but cablevision is not capable of bringing this resolution to the customers home!you are all wasting ur money.Cablevision can bring 1080i at most, so until they rip theyre lines up and start over they cant compete. i dont no why verizon isnt squashing these guys with the truth! The fios product has endles possibilities and the hsi(high speed internet) is much faster than that of optimum. cablevsion is still running commercials in these areas comparing themselves to outdated verizon products such as dsl. Brookhaven wake up and let the community join the rest of the world- Fios has been available on the west coast for 3 years already WTF - are people in utah light years ahead of new yorkers! thats the way the dolans wanna keep it! And do sumthing w the knicks already for the love of god!
