Default Calling Places by Old Names

I have determined that one way to tell if someone has lived here a while is if he calls places by their old names. Two that I can think of around my area are:

A strip mall on Larkfield Road in East Northport used to have a drug store called Tick-Tock as an anchor tenant. It's been a CVS for many years but some old timers still call it Tick-Tock.

The shopping center on NY Avenue in Huntington that contains a Home Depot and NYS Motor Vehicle Department is still referred to by many as "Big H", a store that has not been there in at least 10 years.

Does anyone know of any other such places?

If someone calls Stop and Shop Edwards...or even worse, Finast.

Genovese instead of Eckerd or what it is now, Rite Aid.

Finast...haha I remember that. What is funny is that in New Hyde Park, where Finast was on Hillside Ave, and then Edwards, and now a super stop and Shop, through all the renovations and tenant changes, the fire map inside the store still says "Edwards" on the graphic. I randomly noticed it on my way out one day.

Do roads count? I call Route 135 the Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway but I have never seen a sign calling it that. I just always called it that. I have some friends that just call it 135.

Im guilty of calling Costco Price Club too

The Stony Brook School (coed prep school) is known by old timers as the boys school.
