Maybe a sticky thread should be made.
Then you could post links to the posts with the information. That way it will not seem as redundant.
Perhaps you can look at the context of the tread before posting the information.
Your crusade of geography correctness is almost as bad as people that just go around correcting others spelling on the web.

Let me get this straight: the mod asked you to contain all of your maps and terminology in a sticky AND multiple posters here have asked the same thing, yet you still insist on repeatedly posting information in threads that has nothing to do with the topic of the thread?

Reason: Please.. keep it civil. I will see what can be done.

But are these "annoying" posts you refer to on almost every thread, even if they are totally irrelevant? I don't recall seeing any other poster repeatedly post certain things that are not regarding the original topic, on all threads. That is the point.

I totally agree. Let's take a vote. I vote for the sticky here.

And you can prevent turning other readers off by putting the info where we prefer it (in a sticky or by simply offering the info when it is asked for).

Sure ok, I would agree with that too.
BUT the term relevant would be when someone actually
1) ASKS for a map of a certain town
2) ASKS for proper "terminology" usage
3) ASKS for info regarding geographical location
Otherwise, it's NOT relevant. Just b/c someone asks about a gas station in Huntington for ex, doesn't mean they want to know ANYTHING other than that. Such as in the gas station thread, should I post Huntington school info, demographics, income level, etc? Geographical location is just not relevant to most people's OPs and should be left out unless a poster requests it.
If you think posting maps belongs in EVERY thread, where does the line get drawn then, regarding what is keeping on topic to answer what the OP asked? That's like me copying and posting citi-data stats and posting them on every thread, even if the thread is asking about a restaurant, a school, a gas station, etc.

Nancy and I are discussing this .
