Default Parking in Albertson LIRR station

I was just wondering if any one would know how busy the Albertson Station is in terms of it's tiny parking spot filling up in the mornings?

thanks

I agree. The Hempstead line is horrible. To ease the pain (b/c I work on wall street), I usually travel from Bklyn to Floral Park..much quicker. Travelling from Penn is dreadful.

The HEmpstead line has decent service. West HEmpstead and Oyster Bay have much worse. Besides Isnt the majority of the Hempstead line service to Brooklyn. That seems like it would favor your commuting habit. I always went through brooklyn when I worked downtown. Not to do so seems crazy.

I'd rather be reading on the way to work rather than battling behind the wheel and dealing with the gas prices. The train isn't cheap ($206 for a monthly), but neither is gas.
I'd rather drive. I have so much problems on the train. Long Beach line is the absolute worst. I don't think it has ever come in on time.

I think you may be right, sometimes it skips random stations and people can't get off, the Far Rockaway branch is the same way, both are always late.

My station is served by both the Long Beach & Far Rockaway branches.

You're better off going to Mineola. There's lots more parking at Mineola and service is much better. Albertson doesn't have alot of parking, and isnt far from Mineola, so for the short distance to Mineola you're much better off.

I took it for two weeks from Ronk to Penn and I hated it the commute sucks.I can't see how people who work in the city and take the LIRR from Ronk to Penn Mon-Friday i'd much rather live in Queens (Kew Gardens, Forest Hills etc..)if im looking for a more surburban neighborhood.
