I've only been to Lido once...how much farther is it than Jones?

Lido is near Long Beach. Take Meadowbrook Pkwy south to Loop Pkwy(see sign for long beach, Lido,Point Lookout). Loop Parkway ends, you have to either turn left for Point Lookout or turn right for Lido/Long Beach. Of coarse, make the right, this will be Lido Blvd. Look for "Nickerson Beach Park" on the left. There is a traffic signal at that intersection.

If you want to map it, it's 880 Lido Blvd, Lido Beach.

for non-TOH residents...you can live anywhere in the TOH and not have to pay a non-resident fee...it's not just for lido beach residents.

Jones is trashy, IMO, and there isn't much beach left...most was eroded. I went there today only b/c Robert Moses was closed and Long Beach was flooded this AM.

I grew up going to Pt Lookout and Nickerson...by far my 2 fave beaches.

it's $10, I think for a day-pass whether you are a resident or not...most LB residents get season passes anyway.

I think Jones is very dirty...so much garbage on the sand and the water. They don't take such good care of it.

Robert Moses isn't really crowded especially if you go a little further East down the beach, that's what we do .

And you only have to pay for parking.
