Default The Best Home Inspector. Period.

Casual readers of this board are probably wondering why everyone here is seemingly drinking the KB Inspections Kool-Aid. And your skepticism is fair. But let me tell you, I am now a proud convert.

I can tell you firsthand that hiring Rich Collett to conduct a home inspection is the smartest money you can spend. Too bad I didn't hire him first... more on that in a bit.

In a nutshell:

- He arrived early

- Has a friendly, helpful disposition

- Unafraid to get dirty

- Questioned everything that was out of the norm

- Took his time explaining everything

- Provided a detailed report that included solutions

- Readily available via phone and e-mail

I'm not normally into ringing endorsements for any product or service. But when someone like Rich goes above and beyond, I'm willing to make an exception.

Thanks Rich, for helping give me the confidence to move forward to buy my first home.

If you want to read more on my home inspection experience with Rich and another Long Island inspector, check out this blog entry.

I agree. I was skeptical about finding someone from an "internet website" but Rich is GREAT. Actually during this whole, "1st time home buying" experience, KB inspections has been the ONLY thing that has gone completely RIGHT!

An internet website huh? Would you be less skeptical about if you found someone on another type of website?

Just kidding!!

I am really sorry , but this thread sort of violates the TOS in that it is an advertisement. I have not deleted it , though, so anyone can see what a great housing inspector we have here.
