Keeping in line with the Oyster post below, does anyone know of any good lobster deals in Nassau or Western Suffolk?? We used to go to Douglaston Manor on Thursday nites for their all-you-can-eat lobster buffet, which was awesome!! But they stopped doing it a few years ago and we haven't found a suitable replacement.

Unfortunately i can only tell you about further east. The Tara Inn in Port Jefferson always has a good deal (burgers too). Also if you head to the north fork Aquebogue,Mattituck,Cutchogue areas you can usually buy (5) 1.25 pound lobsters for $25-30.

You can have a lobster to an entire five course meal (stews, chowders, etc.) flash frozen and shipped within 24 hours straight from Maine complete in a decorative gift pot for less or equal to what you would pay a a local restaurant if you do not mind home prep....
Or pack it up and take over to a state park grill at the beach (grill, boil in pot over coals, etc.)....now that restaurant has the best seat, no reservations needed and nudgy seagulls are free. |

Sure Gigi....just go to your favorite search engine (Google for me) type "Maine Lobster" into browser and click search....click on the links to numerous company's you search will call up....some specialise in stews and chowders, others single lobsters to meals fit for a crew of five or more. Compare prices, choose your company and product....call with your C.C. ready and you are off and running...... ![]() |
