Looking at Plainview, NY (Jericho, Nassau: organic, live, stores)

Looking into starting a business in Plainview, NY. The practice would be combining eastern and western medicine (preventative and treatment). What do the people of Nassau County think?

I live not far from Plainview. There's already at least one, possibly two medical practitioners who have the kind of practice you describe.

I guess this shows there's a need. But you would not be without competition.

Thanks for your input. Are there a lot of successful health food stores in that area? Have you ever heard of CAM (Complemetary Alternative Medicine)?

No, I have not heard of CAM.

There are some health food stores, there's a GNC, and there's a Whole Foods in Jericho. The local Fairway has a lot of organic foods.

I'm not really into health food, so I may not be the best person to ask.

There is another health food store too, i think its called Dr BeWeils or something like that.

If you're talking about the one by the intersection of Manetto Hill Rd. and Washington Ave., that's the one I meant.
