It's the Township that a street is in that matters most (for resale advertising purposes) which is why the realtor could list it as Dix Hills even though it's only 50 feet from Deer Park!

I think most realtors will list a property that has a non-conforming postal code in whichever location they see as more "desirable". I see it all the time on MLSLI.com, Lakeview becomes Rockville Centre....New Cassel becomes Westbury...but, curiously, Muttontown never becomes Syosset!

Its a family friendly area-I am moving off straight path-and the schools are great. You will always have value because of the school system.

Sean, I don't give 'em that much credit: with the exception of the villages in the northern part of the Town of Oyster Bay that are in one or more ZIP Code postal zones that have a different community name than the community being served, with limited exceptions, most realtors/real estate agents, will place a property in the community that's named in the ZIP Code postal zone for that place.
