I think that 1 in 4 is accurate. There's a good amount of non-east elmont residents that go to Sewanhaka.

Beginning on the north and moving in a clockwise direction, the Sewanhaka Central High School District includes all or part of the Hamlet of North New Hyde Park, the Hamlet of Manhasset Hills, the Hamlet of Garden City Park, the Village of New Hyde Park, the Village of Stewart Manor, the Hamlet of Franklin Square, the Hamlet of Garden City South, the Hamlet of West Hempstead, the Hamlet of Elmont, the Hamlet of North Valley Stream, the Village of South Floral Park, the Village of Floral Park, the Village of Bellerose and the Hamlet of Bellerose Terrace.

Honestly, it's sad but 99/100 times, it's the black neighborhoods that have the most crime, most graffiti, most drugs, most gangs, worst schools, etc. The higher the percentage of black people in a town usually the worse it is. That isn't racism, it's realism. I wish it weren't true, but it is. I don't see why we need to shy away from this fact. It's not an opinion, it's a fact. Sure you can find a few exceptions I'm sure, but this is the typical way things are. If you want to be politically correct and pretend there isn't a correlation with black areas and crime/being a bad area, that's fine. Just don't complain to the rest of us about how much it sucks to live there.

Some White areas of Long Island have huge problems with HEAVY drugs. In most Black areas, it doesn't go beyond weed/pot (except for back in the 70's/80's with crack and a few remnants today). A few years ago many towns on the island had their ugly heroin problems exposed and many learned how widespread it was. Many of the less affluent white areas of the island tend to have meth issues. Ecstacy is an issue, especially among a lot of gays and the such.
Some of the state of Long Island's black communities are grossly exaggerated mainly by delusional closet racists who think that once they see a Black person then they're in the ghetto. Uniondale is to the north of Roosevelt and is very Black and is doing fine but people from other towns exaggerate it's problems so it's unnecessarily considered "bad". I've been there and it was very well maintained, no graffiti in sight and has a lot of respectable people. Lakeview is an alright town not too far from Roosevelt and it has good performing schools and very solidly middle class. Wheatley Heights is now predominately Black and it looks better than anywhere else in the Town of Babylon (except for maybe Babylon south of Montauk). All the Valley Streams are nice with very good schools and the northern parts are very Black and guess what, they have very little crime. And these aren't just towns I knitpicked from around the country, these are ALL on Long Island and there are a few more exceptions on the island I didn't name.
All your posts (except one) revolve around race so I would assume you're just a troll (whose probably a main user on another account?). If you are not then it appears as if you like to turn a blind eye on what's REALLY reality and then disguise your false idealogies by calling it "realism". If you truly believe what you say then get out and see the world for what it really is and you will be surprised.

Replace "black" with "poor" and yes that's basically the case.
