Renting in 2 family house with 1 meter for heat-would you?

I_Love_LI_but is right, I have a legal two family house and there is only one gas meter but two diferent zones. It was the same way before I converted to gas from oil. He is just being greedy, I pad the rent to include a set amount for heat.

Iam in a program called fixed income advantage.At lease signing the broker brought a lease that we couldnt read half of it was blank so another broker who was there gave us one of his lease. The orignal agreement was lights and gas is included because their is one meter in the whole house and one boiler and furnace. There was a tenant already living there a year before i move in Feb1 2009. The landord had the ulities in her named then remove them in may 2009 saying iam reponsiable to pay all the ulities bills i told her she crazy all ulities is included in the rent she said because i signed the other broker lease madde me responsiable for all ulities i share a meter with the upstair teant when my light go off his to when i dont have heat he dont either
