and I heard that the boulder creek over there closed down. I used to go to Metro 700 when it was trix and then when I was older. It was close to my house and it was the place to be on a friday or saturday night.

Partner? I am sure I did but I don't remember to much about the DJ's I was busy checking out all the male eye candy

yes, my boyfriend, Lloyd Congers aka DJ Lloyd-d-ho. I have some pictures from back in the day spinning during some of the performances.

Is he still your BF? If you and I went to metro 700 back in the late 80's early 90's then we must be close in age. I graduated in 89.

I graduated in 89 as well. I went to all the long island clubs.....machines, elons, escapes, uncle sams, shalay/shallamar, heartbounds. those were the days!

Focus, Speaks, Channel 80(I was too young when that was around), Club G, some bars on LI had small dance floors and a DJ like Fulton Street pub. My uncle was a bartender back in the day there and he bartended at the bunnery, Wimbletons and Rum runners.

i miss Sundance. we saw a great long island 80's band last week. check out The Latham Road Band. their site says they will be at the bulldog on 2/18
