Wasnt the chateau in Northport? I remember as a child only going to a fancier restaurant (Link's LOg Cabin, in Centerport) for a communion or birthday. Once a week we would go to McDonalds or Howard Johnsons.

I don't think it was Northport, but it was somewhere that was kind of "remote" for the time. I remember that supposedly the Bund used to meet in a nearby field. Of course that was back when LI had remote fields.

I lived in Brentwood for 25 years, .I hear Jack-in the box,is now white castle.Does any know if Grants is still there?I Haven't been back in a while

I went to Brentwood schools. I lived about 3 miles south of Entemanns!! A "fresh" box of chocolate donuts and a gallon of milk!

Brentwoods gone to hell

I used to eat at Joes Pizza by 711 as a kid it was awesome.

Roberts in CI was great too.

Does anyone remember Farrells ice cream in Massapequa??

I went too Hemlock Park Elementary from 72-78. Then West Jr high from 78-80 then moved.

My brother went to Ross till the roof caved in then went to split sessions in Sounderling.
