any one remember Babes bar and grill on Braddock blvd. Queens Village? How about the Community gardens on Jamaica Ave. Lived in queens in the 50's went to Massapequa Loved All American burgers and live next to Dick and doras (the origianls) best pizzas around. Now stuck in south west Fla, never should have left mazzapizza

I miss the Smithtown Flea Market, the drive in at Commack, the roller rink, when farms
actually still existed in St. James. You know your from LI when you cant find Grandmas
pizza or a good bagel anywhere else in the world. Or when you move to upstate New
York and you realize you dont feel like you live in New York anymore.

Jacks Tacos were the Best. I used to go to the one in either Lindenhurst or Brentwood depending where we were partying that night. Thats if we weren't going for breakfast at the diner after a night of dancing and then racing the sun home before catching a couple of hours of sleep before having to go to work. Then starting all over again that night. I can't even keep my eyes open now after 11 at night.
