Anyone rent a POD lately? How much are they and are they worth it? I'm doing construction on my house and think it may be a good idea to get one.

I had called a few months back when we knew we were going to be moving. I remember the prices being reasonable.

I didn't end up using them because 1. My former slumlord wouldn't have allowed us to have a PODS on his property and 2. At my new place, there would have been nowhere to put it while we unpack our stuff.

You might also want to try SAM's storage and or ABF. They are much cheaper than PODS.

Check out their websites:

For PODS for a 1 month:

a 7-foot container is $254
a 12 foot container is the same price
and a
16-foot container is $284

For SAM for 1 month is

$179 per month + a 1-time $75.00 delivery fee
