Interlocking Foam Mats for Play Area
Does anyone know where I can pick these up locally on the island? I am looking specifically for 2' by 2' tiles that are a minimum 5/8" thick. Obviously I can find them online, but the shipping charges are silly, I just have no idea who sells them here in person.
I have seen them at Toys R Us, but they were only in blue and maybe packs of 4 tiles, where I need probably 65-70 total tiles, so that isn't practical. I would also like to get them in colors, but I would settle for the blue if I can actually get them here and get a good deal. I attached a picture of what I am looking for. thanks.

Are they for indoors or outdoors?
If they're for a play area outside, I would try Home Depot, Lowes, etc.
If they're for a play area inside, I would try Wal Mart, Toys R Us, Taget, etc... They have them in mulit-pastel-colors with alphabet, etc on them. I've seen them in packs where there are 26 in a pack (alphabet) and there are other packs with numbers, etc.

I know you don't want to order online, but the best place to get what you want (to my knowledge) and get a possible quantity discount is
Rubber Flooring | Exercise Mats | Dance Floor | Play Mats Martial Arts Mats
I've seen some in local stores, but you're looking for a min of 5/8" thickness and most I've seen are barely 1/2" thick...
Will ask around for you and will keep you posted

Try BJ's...a parent once bought them for my classroom-not easy to keep them clean in a room of 20 kindergartners..haha
