Mentioned in a couple of threads before but I'm coming to a realization that some sacrifices must be made concerning finding a place and for the most part apartment space seems to be the one.
I've been mainly looking in Mineola, but have also seen places in Williston Park, Carle Place and Floral Park as well. I've been lucking out finding apartments for good prices but the bedrooms are mostly tiny. I mean, I'd rather live safe and have a good school for my daughter to attend instead of finding something roomy in not the best areas.
I mostly like those areas mentioned above (Mineola and FP esp.) as the convenience can't be beat. Also I am probably the
only LI'er who doesn't drive
so getting around via bus and nearby train stations are a plus, as well as having nearby shops and stores within walking distance. Any other apartment folks dealing with space crunch?
