Default Syosset Train Parking

Does anyone know if there are paid spots that are available near the Syosset train station? My work hours are later - I wouldn't need to take a train until after 8am and I hear the parking spots are long gone by then. Is there any option to pay for parking? Thanks for any insight.

My husband takes the train everyday. The spots are taken by 7:30. But you have a better chance finding a spot in the back lots rather than the main lot. good luck.

Thanks Ziggi813 - but I am told all the spots are filled by 7:30AM and I don't need to catch a train until 8:30AM -- so where do people find parking after hours? Any advice anyone? Anyone know of paid spaces even? Thanks

You can get paid parking at the hicksville train station. The paid lots are usually still available for around 8 or 8:30.

I would venture to say that with the closure of the garage, Hicksville is no bargain, either..my husband leaves by 7 to get one of the last spaces!

That is true - I forgot about the closure of the garage. I haven't used the pay lot in Hicksville since that has happened.

Right - but you can park at the mall while the garage is closed, right?

Yes - but only if you are a resident, I think. I'm guessing that many residents are opting to pay for parking rather than being shuttled...
