I'm sorry, when I meant Malverne, I was taking about the actual community. Unless I misunderstood, I thought it was mostly White and specifically Italian. Here's some info.:Malverne village, New York - QT-P5. Race Alone or in Combination:**2000

Malverne village, New York - QT-P13. Ancestry:**2000 (according to this info., it is 38% Italian-American)

Can you find anything more recent that 2000? That would help.

While 38% is a significant amount, when I think of something as "mostly" or "majority" I think in terms of over 50%.

Malverne is a village (incorporated in 1921) in the west-central part of the Town of Hempstead, in the southwest part of Nassau County.

I can't find any information that is more recent and I should of said pluralistic more Italian. My mistake.

I moved to Malverne a couple of months ago and from my neighborhood explorations, it is mostly white (that's who I've mostly seen so far). As far as specific nationalities, not sure . . . .

As I posted above in the thread, that was a mistake. Malverne was not on the most recent list.

You know certain areas are going to be perceived as bad no matter what.... you live in Valley Stream, correct? Are you aware that VS is a place that likely has a worse reputation that Lakeview, completely undeserved? The schools are good, the crime is low, the neighborhood is nice - but you will still pay the same taxes to live in a place that many LIers view as an idyllic suburb turned minority infested dumping ground where gang warfare runs rampant and bullets fly through the mall daily.

What town would you consider Lakeview ave and Waterview Dr to be in?
Lakeview, West Hempstead or RVC?
