I guess once June 2nd comes, the "wind" will shift..........

this whole "land into the wind deal" is a real crock of you know what.....

they seem to be landing fine on all the other runways.......
during the warmer months the winds prevail from the South. For safety purposes it is critical that 22R and 22L arrivals are maximized during the South wind condition.

Do you always land your personal jet with a tail wind? Here is a tailwind landing for your review:

Wind is debunked.
Traffic too. Even if they say this is low season, I did not hear or saw ONE plane in months the same way they were coming before.

What other excuse other than it's more profitable for Fedex and other companies? The environment?

Now more than ever the FAA or Port authority need to explain why they tortured us when there was no need at all.

^, enjoy it now, because (sadly) when June 2nd comes, they are coming back.

and your right, the planes seem to be landing fine...................................

and funny how the three posters that badger us, are the three that posted negative things.

humm, makes me wonder.......why anyone would bother to badger people on a topic we feel is important.....

Just found out about a cool texting bot that sends your thoughts in letter form to your assembly people. Text "Resist" to 50409

I just used it and it works amazingly well. Just sent a letter to Schumer and Gillibrand with it. Plan on doing it multiple times a day so they can see what it feels like to be bombarded.

Ok, just did.

I asked them to not allow JFK airport to resume the use of runway 22 in June!

The planes were flying low over NHP all last night and when I say night I mean like 3 am. Sounded like rush hour for planes.
