Wading River
Is Wading River a good place to live? Is it too far out East? I'm looking to live somewhere on the Northshore in Suffolk ( Nassau is too expensive). Any suggestions?

It's pretty far out there. Where do you work?

Probably not a bad choice. You'll still have about 30-40 minutes to get to work, though.

Great place to live.
Right off the Wm Floyd.
Avoid Riverhead schools though
Check out Shoreham, Ridge and Rocky Point too.

If I had any choice to move out there that would be the place. Its quaint and a quick jump to WF Pkwy. As noted you need to be in the Shoreham Wading River school district.

Its 30 miles to Oakdale. During morning rush hour I would say 40-45 mins. to work. Depending on what part.
