Default So who gave a luxury auto as a gift this holiday season?

Is it just me being a cheapo or does it seem like these advertisers are in a totally different world than the rest of us?

I am sick and tired of these holiday commercials touting luxury automobiles as gifts.

I wonder if they only flood the airwaves in the NYC Metro Area since they think we are all obsessed with "keeping up with the Schwartzes" (TY Crooks for that saying) or if they actually have the gall to do it in the rest of the country too.

Nothing says "Let them eat cake" like a Benz with a bow on it.

A sure sign of the fall of the American Empire.

Yeah, that's just nuts! Those luxury cars cost more than most of us make in a year!!! Sometimes even in TWO years!

Ever watch "My Super Sweet 16" on MTV??? Those kids are SO spoiled and most of them are such ungrateful little brats! And 9 out of 10 times, they get a car for their birthday. And it's not like mom's old used car... it's like a brand new Mercedes SUV. Grrr.
