Default Furniture Store Recommendation

Can anyone recommend a furniture store on Long Island that sells "mid-price" range furniture? Looking to furnish multiple rooms (bedroom, living room).

I have had great success with Jennifer convertibles, Ashley and a small store in Bohemia on Sunrise hwy called "brand name furniture". Also Bare Boards in Bohemia is great.

A few people we know have gone to Stanley's Furniture in Patchogue and were happy with them. They do seem to have good prices and will "meet or beat" if you bring them prices from other stores. That said.... I ordered a Lane server/hutch from them about five years ago and had a terrible experience. The first one was delivered damaged; it took them 4 months to send someone over to "repair" it; the so-called repair didn't solve the problem so I demanded they take the piece back and order me a new one; it took another 6 months for them to supply a replacement and when they delivered it, it was so dirty and filthy that it looked like it had been sitting in somebody's basement or garage for years. I was completely unhappy with their so-called customer service. But again, others that we know have had no problem with Stanley's and were happy with the prices and items that they received. It could very well be just luck of the draw (or, that they just don't deal with problems well at all).

Very happy with the quality and value of B&B in Medford.

Mostly Sofas and Sectionals.

The owner is a stand up guy and on the floor if you have any questions.

Ethan Allen in Huntington has furniture that is high-quality & will last forever. A little less pricey is Pine Parlor in Lake Grove.

what about on route 110 Farmingdale. There are a lot of places to shop as well as clearance outlets.

be weary of Bob's Furniture. great prices, but not the best (or long lasting) quality and their customer service stinks.

route 110 in farmingdale does have a lot of furniture stores. and raymour & flanigan is having a great sale right now.

it may be worth to spend a little extra and go with a reputable place like Raymour & Flanigan. I've had nothing but good experiences with them.
