Im registered as a Republican however I consider myself to be more of a conservative (not all Republicans are conservative [ahem John McCain] and not all conservatives are Republicans). If we had a national conservative party and 3rd parties actually had a chance at winning federal level elections then I would be in that.
We need to allow 3rd parties a decent chance and we need to reign in the power of the federal government especially on issues relating to education, healthcare, etc where the federal government has no defined constitutional role.
