Default Elementary school and early drop-off

I am a Smithtown resident for a little over a year. I have a young child that will soon be going to school. The problem my wife and I are having is that we both work early hours and it would be impossible to drop-off our child to school. We are at work by 7:00 AM. I know that Tutor Time transports children to schools for a fee but I am looking for additional options in case that somehow ends. Maybe I am being too cautious but I am trying to cover as many bases as possible. I searched for the answer in these forums but I have been unable to find it. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks

I am not familiar with Smithtown schools, but in my district they have a before and an after care program at the school for children whose parents are in the same situation as you. The applications for openings are made in the spring and drawn in a lottery fashion as it is a very popular program.

There is a per hour fee which sounded fair. Call the elementary school which your child will be attending and inquire as to whether they offer such a program.

If you've already done this, please excuse the repetition.

Default After school center

Does your district an after school center? Many of those operate before school as well.
