Done. Paid off a 30 in 15 years. All the people I know thought I was crazy, should have put that extra money in the stock market. Needless to say, I'm quite happy I didn't follow their advice.

I have a 30 upon which I have been making extra payments. Paid down for 13 years so far, should be done in 4 more.

Everyone would be able to pay off their mortgages faster if they made 13 payments instead of 12 each year.
