I bought a great bag in Wilson's Leather. B Makowsky. Beautiful soft leather and the exact same bag sells for $298 in Macy's and I paid $74.00 with a coupon.

It was a special 25% coupon just for Wilson's that I had gotten from the outlets in Lee, Mass & they were having a 60% off sale also. But, there are tons of coupons all over the place. They still have a few of those bags tucked way on the side of the store.

I stopped buying Coach a couple of years ago after I noticed "made in China" stamped into the leather on the bottom of a cellphone case. Screw them. Even at outlet prices, now that they are making things in China they are charging way too much. Once again the discount from outsourcing and offshoring does not go to the consumer!

I really do not know, but they have them in Macy's if you want to see what they are like. Coach has become too industrial-looking & their leather is not what it used to be imho.

COACH have become to "busy" with all of the design patterns, offered, to show they are Hip Here Now.

Coach really has changed..... I don't like all those bags with the "Cs" all over them. They still have a nice line of leather bags, though. I'm not sure what the quality is.... I still have a beautiful Coach bag that I got many years ago and it's still in great condition.

..... I just looked in the bag ---- it was handcrafted in Mexico (and,yes, it's a "real" Coach bag, not a knockoff). I know that Mexico was always great with leather products but I thought Coach was a NYC/American company?? Weird. I'm going to have to take a closer look next time I go to Macys or the Coach outlet to see if the newer bags were made in China or Mexico.
