Suspended License
So my drivers license is suspended because I failed to pay the fines. I live in Nassau County. Does anyone know if Nassau Country Traffic court will reissue my license if I set up some kind of payment program where I pay them back over time? I tried calling them every day last week but was put on hold for over half an hour

dont waste your time using the phone, unless you have money to pay them. go to court, preferably with a lawyer and talk to the DA or/and or judge. pay the fines and you get your license back.
it maybe too late to set up a payment plan. they usually do that when you go to court and you ask them for time to pay. it maybe too late for that part of the negotions now.

Go to the court with whatever portion of the fines you can afford to pay now and see what you can do. As far as a payment plan goes, not sure how that it will work out, if you went to the court shortly after you had the fines and said look this is what I can afford now, they might have worked out a payment plan for you. The fact you let it sit, and now have a suspended license because of it they are probably going to be less likely to work with you on that, but its worth a shot. It also will likely depend on how serious the fines actually are.

Plead insanity. Tell them the ghost of Captain Kangaroo made you do it, and then literally throw yourself at the mercy of the court.
