we are leaving long island for :
better quality of life
lower cost of living
nice people
better schools
get out of rat race
save money

lower taxes on home
lower taxes on clothes
lower car and home insurance

Crime pretty much actually continued to go down here on Long Island, in 07 (the 08 data isn't out yet) crime reached 43 year lows in Nassau County, a crime rate which was already far lower than the national average. |

Your right...no other state has great schools like LI. Every doctor, lawyer, engineer, scientist, is from LI.
