Hearsay is inadmissible in a court of law; hearsay from teenagers is dubious in nature at best.
"Unreported crimes" is so vague -- do you care to elaborate? Is Johnny blowing doobs in the boys room? Is Sally selling pot? Is Bobby shooting up? Does Mikey carry a weapon? Does Mario shake down kids? Is Carol having sex for money in the locker room?
There was one reported crime @ Farmingdale HS a few weeks ago in which a minority student went bonkers, beat someone up, threatened to kill a teacher.

It was Bethpage
Bethpage Student Attack
I also think we're way off topic from original posters questions at this point.

Definitely! These days I deliberately do not say, "How do you like school?" as a conversation starter to kids because I knew I didn't like that question from adults when I was one.

My mistake. A BIG one.
Bethpage, Farmingdale. Not even remotely similar names, just proximity.

Thanks for all your responses.
Not being from Long Island is an adjustment in itself.
The home is in Viceroy, and I am still learing the area...so, if anyone can share anything else related to No. Mass, I would greatly appreciate it.

My husband and I are also looking at a home in North Massapequa. We currently live in Queens but I am originally from Binghamton so don't really know the area that well myself but we have been driving around trying to get a feel for the area and it seems nice. The house that we like is also in Farmingdale school district. So I def. appreciate any info about the area....

My children attended Woodward Parkway as did my neices and nephews. I still have a 3 grader there. It is a wonderful school with wonderful teachers. I have lived in North Massapequa (Viceroy) for ten years now and requested school district 22 when I was looking for a new home. You will not be dissapointed with this area or the schools. The people are very friendly and watch out for each other. We have holidays activities for the children and a very nice bike path. There is one way in and the same way out by car. My family and I are extremely happy here.

School district 22 = Farmingdale Union Free School District.
