About 6 years ago I worked as a pot washer in a very upscale, highly regarded Irish restaurant on the North Shore. I spent all my time in the kitchen.

The two cooks were drunk, ***holes who were recent immigrants and had a beef with everyone that they had ever spoken with. It really was crazy.

Let's just say you'd be surprised what ended up in the $25 shepherd's pies and $40 fried halibut when these guys literally chain-smoked as they cooked this stuff. Not to mention that there was one stretch where the kitchen wasn't cleaned for 3 weeks. I was once had to clean ants off the lid of the big pot that soup was left to warm in.

The point is that it isnt just the fast food places that use some secret ingredients. That said, Taco Bell here I come, yum!!

A long time ago, both my brothers had been working at IHOP after school.
As did a few of their friends.
The stories I heard would make you puke instantly.

One time, my brothers friend was on top-secret double probation, and knew the next screw up he would be fired.
So, this dude accidently breaks a glass over the pot with all the pancake batter.
Normally, you would throw out the entire batch.
Not wanting to get in trouble, this moron picks out the big pieces of glass, and just mixes the batter up real good.
Fortunately, my brother(who was a knucklehead as well) caught this guy doing this, and tossed out the batter and he took the blame for it.
Could you imagine if this stuff had made it to somebody's plate?
*crunch-crunch*

What happened to the Arby's at Green Acres?

I only got to eat there once .

They should build a Sonic, I ate there almost everyday at the Walmart in Orlando/Kissimmee, and it was good.

Is the Arby's still at the Broadway mall? It's listed on Arbys' site and the mall directory.
