I don't think CPS could really do anything. I guess it would have to be proven that they're putting their kids at risk or putting them in danger --- I would actually think she is because she's out there prostituting herself and making sure the entire public knows about it. All of her personal info is out there ---- including where she lives ----- it wouldn't be too far a leap for some lunatic to figure out where her kids go to school and possibly attempt a kidnapping or some other extortion plot.

I honestly wonder if she even thinks about her children when she does things like this?? I wonder if either one of them think about the kids? Or are they just too self-absorbed? And who takes care of her children when she's out hooking, stripping, or whatever else it is that she does????

The ones to blame are her parents. I don't know how much of the movie is true, but it seems she got away with everything, including talking smack to her parents which should have earned her a back hand. I also think she could have made better use with her notoriety.

I knew people just like Amy growing up. i dont mean that they shot thier lovers wives but how they acted towards thier parents. she was simply spoiled. thats the behavior of most merrick teen age women. look at lindsy lohan. debbie gibson grew up well. amy's parents were rich and gave her anything she wanted. amy, being the promisous girl that she was, used her body to get whatever she wanted.

but you know, there will be one obsessed person out there, that will stop at nothing to see Amy and her kids may become the victim one day. I pray to god that it will never happen.

How old are her children? I did not realize the husband/father was just as bad. Understand why nothing will happen to her children. She would have a lawsuite against the NYPD so fast their heads would spin. Its a shame, she has not grown up. Or just lost. Talk about someone who needs to go to church and find a different path. Hopefully someone will grab her along the way and wake her up. Its never to late. Just hope its not to late for her children.

How could she have a lawsuit against the NYPD?? Her husband is a retired cop.... the dept has nothing to do with him/her or their current lifestyle. And I highly doubt they would stand up for him against CPS if those children were truly at risk.
