Same goes for Realtors - for us, it's about "fair housing".
I noticed you mentioned the street name--I have friends in that neighborhood, on Bruno, and my broker sold two nice, brand new houses on Undset last Fall. You're right by Paumanok School - nice residential area!

Personally, I would steer clear of anything that borders Wyandanch.

Actually, that area does border Wyandanch if you head south on Straight Path. In my opinion, it's close in proximity, about a mile away.

IMHO, on Long Island, a mile+ will make a huge difference in many areas/neighborhoods...

sometimes it's even less than a mile. Heading north/south along Clinton or Washington, the transition from Garden City to Hempstead is literally one block.
